๐Ÿ”น WHAT IS FOOD SUB INSPECTOR?

The Food Sub Inspector (FSI) works under the Food & Supplies Department and is responsible for ensuring proper implementation of the Public Distribution System (PDS), monitoring ration shops, preventing food adulteration, and enforcing food-related laws.

๐Ÿ‘‰ It is a field + administrative job with regular public interaction.


๐Ÿงฉ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspection of ration shops (Fair Price Shops)

  • Checking quality and quantity of food grains

  • Preventing black marketing & hoarding

  • Maintaining stock and inspection reports

  • Assisting in implementation of food security schemes

  • Field visits in urban and rural areas
